Almijara Bowls Club Nerja 
I am looking at organising a bowls tour from The Emerald Isle club to visit both Mojacar and yourselves,we are looking at April/May 2015
is this possible and if so can you recommend a local hotel
Hi Elwyn. Apologies for the delay in replying, but if you look at the latest entry on this website you will see that we are in the process of moving to a new site. This should be completed by the end of this year (2014) Still in Nerja, details are on the web page. There are several hotels nearby. The Nerja Club Hotel is just across the road, and the Hotel Los Arcos is very close too. If you look at the map of Nerja and find the Hotel Nerja Club, the new venue (La Raquetta Tennis Club) is across the road from it.
I notice that since the last time I visited you the venue has altered. Does the new venue have parking, if not where is the best place to leave the car?

Hi Kevin
There is a small car park at the La Raqueta tennis club, but if it is full just a little distance away on the same road you can park outside the Supersol supermarket and walk back to the club.
I would just like to extend my thanks to the members of the club for the warm welcome I have had over the past 8 weeks. It was lovely to play outdoors in the sunshine and nice to see a few old (and getting older!) faces, and meet some new ones. I am already looking forward to returning in 2017.
