Full Size Rink Bowling

It has been suggested by some members that a regular away day to one of the Malaga Clubs should be arranged to play competitively against them in addition to the normal club outings.

Those wishing to form a mini league and to turn out regularly please list below.

Initially on a monthly basis, but if successful and required, reducing to fortnightly. Playing fees usually 7-8 Euros, arranging your own transport and refreshments at cost.

It is anticipated that we would visit Lauro Golf in the first instant, as they can fit us in more easily at this time whilst others need months of notice.

The aim is for those interested in improving their long game in the hope of obtaining our own rink in the future. Also to perhaps enter Teams into Open Competitions in the Malaga area and put us on the map so to speak.

For the really keen players :-

The first Open is at Lauro Golf on 17th to 21st October featuring Mixed Pairs and Mixed Trebles. Entry closes on 13th October. As it is an elimination competition I don’t expect miracles and therefore this should not clash with our own Gala day. The Open Entry fees are €8 per person per event.

No drinking water or snack machines

Please note that at present there are no dispensing machines for water or snacks at the sports centre. They are planning on reintroducing them at some point in the future but can’t say when!

So bring your own water, and also note that you still can’t eat bananas in the sports hall 🙂
