Welcome back to Bowling in September to all Members .
This coming ‘Season’ [October to May] the Club will be running the 2 Leagues which were successful between Jan & May 2009 – a 3 Wood Triples and a 4 Wood Pairs League.
Trophies for these have been purchased.
Bowls Drives will again be held on a Monthly basis, these will rotate on all normal Playing Days [Mon, Wed, Fri]. The first being held on Monday 21st September.
The Overall Winner will receive a Shield which is kept until the next Drive.
Added to these will be 3 Competitions – Mens, Ladies, & Club Singles. It is planned to play these through to completion on One Day. Again Trophies will be Presented to the Winners.
There is of course the Sponsored Gala Day in October.
Entry Forms for the Leagues will be posted on the Club Notice Board early in September, please get your Entries in as soon as possible to allow ample planning of the Leagues. Actual Playing Days will be determined by the No. Of Entries, but hopefully we will get an increase in the No. Of Teams.
Entries for the Competitions will be sought as soon as the availability of the Sports Hall is established and the Playing Day fixed.
The Club Shirts ordered by Members will be available for collection at Bowling w/c 7th September.
