Spring Dinner/Dance

66 Members and Guests shown at the Spring Dinner at the Nerja Club Hotel on Sat: 9th May. Prizes were presented to the Winners of Leagues and Competitions recently completed. Club Singles – Mens – Dom McRory, Club Singles – Ladies – Julie Tomblin, Club Pairs – Mixed – John Wayne & Rod Nixon. 3 Wood Triples League – Chimney Sweeps – John Morse, John Wayne, Michael McCullagh & Rod Nixon. 4 Wood Pairs League – Rosy Pears – Keith Entwistle & Rose Walsh.

The Night was later Danced away with Entertainmant by  Kathy Guest.

Trip to Lauro Bowls

33 members & friends of the Club enjoyed a Trip to Lauro Golf Bowls Club on Tuesday 28th April. 2 Games were played among Almijara Club Members during the Morning, a Buffet Lunch was thoroughly enjoyed.

A Match v a Lauro Golf team was played in the afternoon – although the Aljimara club were well beaten – with a lone winning Rink – the Day was very successful and will hopefully be repeated in the near future.
